Conditional Sentence

·         Pengertian

Kalimat conditional diartikan sebagai kalimat pengandaian atau kalimat bersyarat.

Kalimat conditional ini memilliki dua klausa, yaitu : main clause dan if clause

·         Tipe Conditional Sentence

a.       Tipe I (Future)

If  + Present Tense , Future Tense

            S + V_{1         ,}  S + will + V₁

b.      Tipe II

If  + Simple Past tense , Past future tense

                 S + V₂        , S + would + 1

c.       Tipe III

If  + Past Perfect tense , Past future perfect tense

            S + Had + V_{3   ,}  S + Would + Have + V₃

Soal :

1.      If I finish the dress before Saturday , I will give  (give) it to my sister for her birthday

2.      He would give you the money If He had (have) it

3.      She would call you immediately If She needed (need) help

4.      We would go for a drive If today been (be) Saturday

5.      If she wins the prize it will be because she write (write) very well

6.      If your mother buys (buy) that car for you, will you be happy ?

7.      My dog always weak me up  If he hears (hear) straight noisy

8.      If he hand left already , he would call (call) us

9.      He would understand it If you explained (explain) it to him more slowly

10.  If he didn’t speak so quickly , you would understand (understand) him
